Songlines offers digital banner and advertorial advertising opportunities via the website and our Newsletters. While there is some audience overlap between the website and e-newsletter audience, the majority of our digital users don’t read the printed magazine. Therefore, both mediums compliment each other and magazine advertising to provide a large and targeted World/Folk Music audience across mediums.
Advertising on the website provides an opportunity to reach a large, international audience, with many visitors just beginning their World Music journey. This audience is particularly valuable for international tours, gigs and festivals and World Music releases with broader appeal.
The majority of the 30,000+ subscribers to the Newsletters have provided their email addresses at UK festivals (WOMAD, Larmer Tree, Musicport etc). This makes our e-newsletters especially powerful for UK-based festivals, gigs and tours.
Our Weekly Newsletters are sent out every Friday. If you want to coincide with the publication date of a new issue, see here (https://www.songlines.co.uk/advertising) for on sale dates.
