Lisa-Kainde and Naomi Díaz, the twin daughters of Cuba’s Buena Vista Social Club’s percussionist Anga Díaz, were only 11 years old when their father died. Now in their 20s, the sister’s debut album is a fitting homage to his memory, fusing various Cuban influences with electronic and global pop elements, sung with power and intensity in English and Yoruba.
