Kiko Dinucci
Rastilho (Mais Um)
On his second album, the São Paulo guitarist Dinucci evokes the golden era of late-1960s Brazilian music with a set that wrings vivid emotion out of every note. Strongly influenced by samba and Afro-Brazilian spirituality, but fused with a punkish attack and elements of rap, there are echoes of such greats as Baden Powell and Tom Zé in the music.
