This gently compelling debut album from a Norwegian-Swedish trio who studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music features the ancient kravik lyre alongside langeleik zither, Handanger fiddle, mouth harp and electronica. Fine solo and harmony vocals help to create original, subtle soundscapes that range from the tranquil, charming and hypnotic to the quietly unsettling.
