A thrilling, intense debut in which the chanting, melodic or declamatory vocals, flute, talking drum and mouth bow playing of Kaito Winse, a griot from Burkino Faso, are transformed by Belgian noise punk exponents Benjamin Chaval (drums and electronics) and Arnaud Paquotte (bass). The trio sound as if they are playing at some ancient ritual that’s been given an edgy post-punk makeover.
