Described as “the most ‘me’ music” he could imagine making, the third solo album from English folk multi-instrumentalist Sweeney is his first comprised of entirely original material. Composed during lockdown on synthesizers and guitars, rather than his trademark fiddle, Escape That is a joyful collection of catchy dance tunes inspired by some of Sweeney’s favourite pop music.
