Chouk Bwa & The Ångströmers: Live in Liège

Haitian sextet Chouk Bwa and Belgian production specialists The Ångströmers offer up a video premiere of their live performance documented at the Supervue Festival on July 30, 2022. Showcasing the collaboration’s hypnotic amalgams of ritualistic Afro-Caribbean polyrhythms and dubby bass-bin electronics, this exclusive footage yields two pulsing tracks taken from the Ayiti Kongo Dub EPs (released earlier this year via Bongo Joe), as well as a intoxicating new, unreleased cut, ‘Somanti’.
A new Chouk Bwa & The Ångströmers album is scheduled for release in 2023.
