Taken from Jeremy Loops upcoming EP, Souvenirs (out via Decca on October 8), 'This Town' is a tonic for deprived spirits, borne of successive generations of South African artists uniting to foster a buoyant message of hope through their shared belief in the potency of music as a vital communicative force.
Talking about the song's consciousness-elevating credo, Ladysmith Black Mambazo's S’bong Shabalala says: "We would like people to get a sense of self-worth from the song and to be encouraged to work towards what they want in life and be patient and know that it will all work out in the end and don’t be shy to ask for help if things are tough.”
