A new dance, theatre and music production is set to open Dublin Theatre Festival 2024 (Sept 26 – Oct 13) on September 26. Nobodaddy, which takes its name from a character appearing in William Blake's poetry, will see critically acclaimed choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan working with theatre company Teaċ Daṁsa and renowned dancers and musicians, including US folkie Sam Amidon.

Currently, the project is still in its starting stages, with the artists living, eating and working together on the Dingle Peninsula of Ireland. 'While Nobodaddy is the name of a destructive divinity who appears in several of William Blake’s notebook poems,' explains Teaċ Daṁsa, this performance of the same name 'is an ode to the peacemakers and the bringers of good things.'

Nobodaddy will run from September 26-28 and September 30 – October 5 at the O'Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College in Dublin, as well as in Belfast on September 17-18 for its world premiere and at London's Sadlers Wells from November 27-30.
