Songlines join Scottish and world folk industry in supporting Australian bushfire victims
We join a number of leading music festivals, artists and events showing our support for a campaign established in support of those tragically affected by the recent bushfires in Australia.
Donating a year’s subscription to a major prize draw, organised by the team responsible for the Year of Scotland in Australia 2020 – the largest ever programme of Scottish music and culture presented in that country – Songlines are uniting with other participants, including Edinburgh Fringe, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival, in raising proceeds to be split between the Australian Red Cross and World Wildlife Federation.
The prize draw will take place during a live streaming from Showcase Scotland Expo during Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow on February 1.
