What are you listening to?
Lost Girls (artist and writer Jenny Hval and multi-instrumentalist Håvard Volden), Brutus, Primitive Man, Kaatayra, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Neurosis, Blood Incantation’s Timewave Zero and Black Angels’ ‘Half Believing’.

Your all-time favourite albums?
Vincent Gallo’s When; The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and the album Radikalni Dr Karkolizem by poet, musician and anarchist Dani Kavaš.

Musician you most admire?
The late Motörhead bassist and songwriter Lemmy Kilmister, because he had such a badass attitude towards life.

Memorable musical encounter?
Playing together with the talented Polish guitarist and composer Raphael Rogiński. We worked together on a project remaking Moondog compositions. Raphael’s got a very old soul, his energy is so remarkably positive and his guitar style is very unique and very emotional.

First album you ever bought?
Marilyn Manson’s Antichrist Superstar.

Your hidden talent?
I’m a social worker employed in the field of domestic violence. I run a programme for perpetrators. This provides an essential balance to the music that I create.

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be?
A psychotherapist.
