Popular Palestinian rap trio DAM return with a third album that features the same political and social fervour as the previous two. Ben Haana Wa Maana (Between Both Worlds) doesn't let up in pushing the status quo and DAM double down on their statements that cover topics such as women's rights and the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community, US foreign policy and the tribulations of being a Palestinian living in Israel. And those are just to name a few.

Opening track ‘Dathiruni’ (Cover Me) uses a deft, uptempo beat for the trio to rap about wanting to start a new revolution into reforming the Arab World and establishing rights and equality for all walks of people. ‘Milliardat’ (Billions) is a call to arms for minorities to establish a more prominent voice for themselves and uses more of an Arab rhythm alongside a drum machine, which also flits between Arabic and English at points. ‘Jasadik-Hom’ (Your Body of Theirs) is a spoken-word offering about the struggle a woman goes through to liberate herself from the male gaze. It's a solid, decent effort that will appease fans, social activists and newcomers alike.
