This 1961 work was originally released on Peru's MAG label. Nelson Ferreyra's outfit gives Cuban guaracha, once particularly popular in Havana's brothels, a Peruvian twist with the kind of brassy, punchy panache that makes these six originals and six versions an infectious delight.
