Archie Roach is one of Australia's best-known Aboriginal singer-songwriters; his long career has seen him win every award and accolade possible, and many of his songs have deservedly become classics. His moving repertoire has played an essential role in helping to nurture a better understanding of the indigenous experience to the wider population. This latest three-CD set chronicles Roach's live performances of his most recent studio albums - 2012's Into the Bloodstream, 2016's Let Love Rule and 2018's Dancing With My Spirit (a previously unreleased album originally recorded in the 1990s). But rather than being just a ‘greatest hits’ retrospective, this collection also highlights the many overlooked tunes included on those releases.

On all three albums Roach's backing includes longtime colleagues Craig Pilkington on guitar and string virtuoso Jen Anderson. Special guests include fellow Aussie icons Paul Kelly, Vika and Linda Bull, Emma Donovan, actor Jack Charles, the fabulous female trio Tiddas and several choirs.

Despite serious health issues in recent years and enormous personal loss, Roach's voice and energy have remained remarkably strong and his lyrics have continued to touch many hearts. With too many individual highlights to list, The Concert Collection is a must-have documentation of one man's personal story and vision.
