Travesseiro Feliz (Happy Pillow) opens with a Brazilian alt-rock groove, setting the stage for the psychedelic fusion this album promises. Featuring guest performances from a host of artists, Richaid fuses jazz, rock, psychedelia and tropicália elements together, but largely all at the same time.

‘Maracas Enterprise’ opens and is followed by a drifting ramble of its parts in ‘Frio de Manhã’ for another three minutes. The album then descends into self indulgence, settling briefly for most of ‘Largado Nu’. ‘Drone’ is an interesting 90s rock groove and Richaid's duet with his daughter Nina in ‘Formigas’ is a gem that sadly misses opportunity for development. ‘O Velho Cai’ has some pleasing moments but generally there are too many ideas all over the place, giving nothing time to breathe. Melody lines are introduced then overtaken with each subsequent idea, cluttering everything. Richaid would benefit from working with a producer or arranger to give more structure and focus to his ideas.
